2 weeks old!!

Most of these pictures were taken after Jenell turned 2 weeks old! Can you believe it's already been two weeks? :) So far, she is a wonderful baby!!! She is quiet and calm all the time and I'm going to appreciate every second of it in case she decides to change her tune!

This weekend, we went to introduce Jenell to Grandma Jenell and Nana Sue and Grandpa Hal and Grandma Nanette. Tim just started back at work yesterday and last night was the first night I didn't wake him up for anything... whew! Tough stuff! :) I'm still having crazy dreams where I wake up and start searching for Jenell in my pillow... no joke... :D I still haven't found a mom who says that's "normal and happens to everyone"... LOL but I'm getting better about not checking to see if she's breathing every five minutes! I have yet to ride in the front seat when she's in the car so now Tim refers to himself as our chauffeur… :)

This one was funny because she actually grabbed his finger and guided it into her binky and held it there!! It was so cute!!

Mom's Birthday! :)

We had a wonderful time relaxing on my birthday! Tim got me a new camera ( I broke mine at the hospital..) and Jenell's umbilical cord fell off! :) She's doing wonderfully and gets cuter every day! Tim will be going back to work on Monday but until then we're enjoying the time together with our new little family!

She has arrived!

Our precious little girl is home!! Jenell Elizabeth was born on Saturday, June 14, 2008 at 11:29 AM. She was 7 lbs 1oz and 19.5 inches long. :) She is such an amzing gift from God!! Here are some pictures from her first days of life.

Things with Jenell are wonderful so far! They have been monitoring me (and her) very closely 2-3 times a week. Our actual due date at DGMC is June 28th but they will induce me no later than the 23rd because of my gestational diabetes and hypertension. So she'll be here pretty soon!
