Purple Crayon!

I freaked when I saw her eye!! But upon closer inspection, I realized she had done this with the purple crayon I had just confiscated! Ha! Think she has a future in movie make-up? Pretty realistic, huh?

Santa says.. No No No!

Took Jenell to see Santa today.. she was so excited to go see him! She has been practicing for their meeting all month- Me: "Jenell, what does Santa Say?" Jenell: "Ho." She did end up telling him that (Ha!) but didn't end up giving him any of the hugs or kisses she had mentioned. :) Even waiting in line, she was so happy and waving to him and blowing kisses- but when she actually had to walk up the red carpet it all went out the window. But it was so cute! Once she was off his lap she told him thanks very politely and then said "Bye"

When it was all done, the woman taking the photo said, "I got one of her looking at the camera, but she is crying" Ha. "We'll take it" I said! Of course! What a sweet memory! In all fairness, she really wasn't feeling good today but it is Christmas Eve and I HAD to get a Santa picture!

I'm terrible at keeping secrets..

I'm terrible at keeping secrets.. not yours!! Just my own! :) Especially such a good one! We JUST found out we're pregnant! I've been saying I'd like to keep it a secret until at least the first trimester is past, but I give up. I'm sure that God wants us to share and rejoice in this blessing! So I'm letting go of the worry and giving it to Him. This darling baby is His anyway and I doubt He wants us to keep him/her a secret.

So that's the update- here at the Boyer home we're getting ready for Christmas, wondering what to do with all this stuff (you can't have garage sales in December!), praying about finding a house with more rooms and rejoicing (and we hope you will join us) that Jenell will be a big sister next year! But most importantly, we are rejoicing in what Christmas is all about- HIM!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

We're one week into December and loving it! We got to go to Suisun for the Christmas tree lighting and saw fireworks, Santa and even got to ride on the Christmas train! We got our hopes up for snow, but it didn't pan out. We need to get back to New Mexico to enjoy some real winter weather! ;)

I got to attend the Women of Faith conference in Sacramento this weekend. I didn't take any pictures for some reason.. probably because we spent all our time worshiping, laughing, crying, hugging, singing and dancing! There was no time for pictures! We LOVE Christmas!

Actually, it's more like I love Christmas and the rest of my family is drug along as I work to get as many warm-fuzzy feelings as possible into our home! :) We've had homemade apple pie, Christmas cookies, put outdoor and indoor decorations up and it's not even December! Here are a few pictures from our last week of November.

Jenell found these at Grandma Carol's house and she loves jewelry and that's what she thought these were. She put them all around her neck one by one with no suggestions from anyone! :) Such a girly girl!

We say it every year, but I can't believe how quickly this year has flown by! Jenell just had her second Halloween and is about to have her second Christmas! What?! I don't really feel like blogging extensively so I'll just give you a few snapshots from our last week.
