Texas

We're back safe and sound from Texas! It was a wonderful but short trip and Jenell got along VERY well with her Grandma and Great-Grandma. :) She was sick the whole time we were there, but she was a trooper! We had a four generation picture taken while we were there-so keep a look out- I'll post it when we get it!

When in Texas...

Flying to Texas!

Yep- you read it right. Jenell and I will be flying to Texas.. on Saturday. Last minute plans, but we're finally going to get to introduce Jenell to my mom, her mother and my sister, Taylor! I'm thrilled for that part, but getting there is a battle for me. Because... I am terrified of flying. Like beyond terrified.

I'm sure I'll have to maintain some composure for Jenell's sake, but usually I have my head between my knees during take off and landing.. and some of the flight..

I'm trying to fill up on anything that God says about fear, trusting Him and overcoming fear..

When I am afraid, I will trust in you. In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I will not be afraid. -Psalm 56:3

This is on my fridge.. so any other verses that might be encouraging or helpful, send them my way and they'll go up there too!!
